Crookstoppers removable caravan or trailer security post was specially designed to help combat caravan or trailer theft.
The post and base come fully galvanised so there are no rusting, chipping or flaking issues usually associated with powder coated or painted products.
Our unique anti bolt cropper plate and sliding mechanism design prevents the padlocks from being bolt cropped.
The hinged flap folds down level with the floor when the post is removed. This removes a trip hazard or prevents damage to vehicle tyres if driven over.
The post also has an added extra anchor point to accommodate a security chain that allows other items to be secured.
Concrete the base into the floor. Secure your post into the base and place your trailer hitch on to the ball. Lower the sliding mechanism onto the top of your hitch. Secure this in place with 2 padlocks, into the holes that match up (padlocks not supplied).
Can usually be used in conjunction with your own hitch lock. Some models where the hitch lock does not cover or use the point of the hitch were the tow ball goes in.
