Crookstoppers floor mounted caravan or trailer security post was specially designed to help combat caravan or trailer theft.
The post comes fully galvanised so there are no rusting, chipping or flaking issues usually associated with powder coated or painted products.
Our unique anti bolt cropping sliding mechanism design, prevents the padlocks from being bolt cropped.
The post also has an added extra anchor point to accommodate a security chain that allow other items to be secured.
Bolt this the post into the floor with the fixing bolts supplied. Place your hitch on to the ball, then lower the sliding mechanism onto the top of your hitch. Secure this in place with 2 padlocks, into the holes that match up (padlocks not supplied).
Can usually be used in conjunction with your own hitch lock. Some models where the hitch lock does not cover or use the point of the hitch were the tow ball goes in.
